Eligibility Criteria:
1.Should be Citizen of Indian/Bhutan/Nepal
2.Must have at least Intermediate/10+2 Pass certificates from any recognized university
3.Most of the banks will ask graduation degree at the time of  filling the Bank Clerk Jobs

Age Limit:
Candidates must have at least 18 years and below 28  years  for General category candidates as on 01/01/2013.
5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates
5 years for Ex/Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency
3 years relaxation in upper age for OBC Candidates
10 years for PWD Candidates

Application fee:
400 rupees for OBC/General category candidates and 50 rupees for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.After downloading the Challan form,pay the fee at any mentioned bank before last date.

Online Registration:
www.ibps.in /Where students can apply online from 15/10/2012.The last date to fill the online application form is 5/11/2012.The Written Exam will conduct in December or January,2013.Call letters can be download after 3rd of December.

Company Profile

The Lakshmi Vilas Bank Limited (LVB) was founded eight decades ago ( in 1926) by seven people of Karur under the leadership of Shri V.S.N. Ramalinga Chettiar, mainly to cater to the financial needs of varied customer segments. The bank was incorporated on November 03, 1926 under the Indian Companies Act, 1913 and obtained the certificate to commence business on November 10, 1926, The Bank obtained its license from RBI in June 1958 and in August 1958 it became a Scheduled Commercial Bank.



Qualifications: (As on 01-10-2012)
Probationary Clerks Graduates with minimum Second class studied in regular college affiliated to any recognized university (10+2+3 or equivalent pattern) with computer knowledge.

Age as on 01-10-2012: 20- 27 years

Application Fee: Pay Rs 300 by means of a Demand Draft from any Bank, favouring “The Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd” payable at Chennai being the examination fees (Keep the Demand Draft before logging in to and starting applying online and Demand Draft should  reach on or before 23-10-2012 at Karur).

Probation: On appointment, candidates will be on probation for a minimum period of six months. On successful completion of the probation, and if found suitable, they will be confirmed in the services of the Bank.

Selection process :Selection will be on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview. Those candidates who come out successful in the written examination shall be called for Interview.

Written Examination Centres: The written examination is proposed to be held at the following centres depending upon the number of candidates opting the centre. The Bank reserves right to fix the examination centre and the Bank decision is final. Chennai, Madurai, Salem, Karur, Coimbatore(Tamilnadu), Bangalore (Karnataka), Hyderabad, Vizag( Andhra), Mumbai(Maharashtra), Delhi, Kolkata (West Bengal), Ahmedabad (Gujarat),  Ranchi(Jharkhand). The address of the venue will be advised in the call letters.

How to apply
Applicants are requested to apply through online between 01-10-2012 and 15-10- 2012.
After successful registration of  online application, take a print out of the registration slip, enclose  the Demand Draft - affix the Passport size photograph and send the  same to  The Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd ,HRD Department - Clerical Recruitment – 2012 ,Administrative Office, Salem Road, Kathaparai ,Karur – 639006 Tamilnadu
