        Indian Overseas Bank, a leading Public Sector Bank with headquarters in Chennai having geographical presence all overIndia and abroad invites On-line applications from Indian Citizens for the post of Probationary Officers in Junior anagement Grade Scale – I, who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for obationary Officers/Management Traineesconducted by IBPS in Sept / Nov 2011 and obtained a valid IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score Card and who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in this notification below.
Candidates are requested to apply only through online between 30.03.2012 and 19.04.2012 through our Bank’s website www.iob.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Before applying, candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill the stipulated eligibility criteria. They should note that Application Fee/ Postage charges once deposited will neither be refunded nor be adjusted against any other recruitment process. Candidates are advised to fill their particulars on-line by themselves correctly.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
IBPS SCORE REQUIREMENT:
      Candidates should have obtained the valid IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score card, score in each test components and
Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) as mentioned below in the Common Written  Examination conducted for POs/MTs in Sept / Nov 2011 by IBPS. Candidates should be able to produce the original IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score Card in support of the scores mentioned in the on-line application form, if called for Interview.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (AS ON 01.07.2011):
i) Graduation from a recognised university/Institution with minimum 60% Marks. (For Candidates belonging to
SC/ST/PC category minimum 55% Marks). Graduation results should have been declared by the
university/Institution on or before 01.07.2011.
ii) Computer literacy shall be an essential qualification, which the candidate must either possess before or acquire within
six months of joining the Bank.
iii) Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from Indian Institute Of Banking and Finance (IIBF) is a desirable qualification
besides the above entry level qualification.

AGE
(As on 01.07.2011): Minimum: 21 Years and Maximum: 30 Years
